Each season, hundreds of volunteers in Ann Arbor offer their time and energy to coach our youth sports teams through Rec & Ed. Bob Schoeni is one of these dedicated and beloved coaches. He has coached almost ten years of girls’ soccer, field hockey and softball, and many girls in Ann Arbor know him as “Coach Bob.”
Through Coaching for a Cure, parents honor a coach or group of coaches by donating to Ann Arbor Active Against ALS. Over $5,000 has been donated through this initiative. Check out our Gallery of Honored Coaches.
We provide a certificate for your coach(es) acknowledging her or him. If interested, we can make information available about ALS and about Ann Arbor Active Against ALS for your team, or even meet to talk about ALS with your players.
